Ok I know I haven't really shared much about my job since I started in January. Basically coz so much have been happening and I was just too busy, and lazy, to write about it.
I'm currently working in HomeGuru Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian property portal set up as part of a joint venture between All Property Media Pte Ltd, Singapore and RedBerry, Malaysia. The portal provides consumers a platform to identify available properties for purchase, sale, rental or investments, and a direct channel to search for and contact Agents for assistance. Designed with the end-user in mind, the portal boosts real time access to multi-media rich content covering property and home-related products, services, news, advice, guides, tools and a rapidly growing online property database in Malaysia. It works closely with prominent real estate developers in Malaysia and overseas, housing agents and home-related firms.

So Basically since January until April, I was working as a Telesales Executive. Basically approaching property agents via phone and selling our services to them. Did a few presentation in some agencies as well as conducted training sessions for agents in the office. It was a very productive 4 months experience, money wise. Haha.
So during the company Bintan trip, I got offered to transfer department to the agent sales team (outdoor sales), the only thing was I didn't have a car to go about in KL. Company offered to give me an interest free downpayment loan for the car. Awesome and I took the offer. Parents were paying the remaining balance in cash and I've gotta pay back them with a lower interest rate. Not such a bad deal after all. =)
Starting from May, I'll be officially in the Agent Sales Team and yesterday was my last day as a Telesales Executive in the company.
Got lotsa new stuff within these few days.

New company laptop. It's red, loving it!

And I got my brand new car today.

Super determined to make this quarter an even more productive one than before. Haha. I know I can do it. =)

Oh, basically you just need to find an agency that you would like to be attached to. Then the agency will help to guide you. You don't have to study property to be an agent. So no worries! =p But no basics though.
