People who are always late

This morning while I was in class (yes I went to class today), I read an article in a Chinese newspaper, forgot what paper was it already. Anyway, this article, it mention that a girl sometimes deliberately be late on a date just so she can test his patience and his love towards her.

WTF???!!!

What sort of sane human would do such things? If you're reading this post of mine, and you do deliberately be late on dates, here's what I have to say to you.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

I mean, what logic is there of you being late allows you to access your guy's love/patience towards you? Come on la, it's not even sensible to be late at all.

I for once, hate people who are late. If you know you're the kind of person who can't be on time, please promise a later time instead of being late. I hate people who make me wait. It's alright if the person is late bout 5-10 minutes, but 15 minutes is all I can take. Anything more that that I would be so dulan at the person by the time he/she arrives.

There was this time that a friend dated me out in Times Square. I was there bout 10 minutes earlier so I thought I'd just wait. Then it was 5 minutes after the promised time, being impatient as I am, I gave her call to see how long would I still need to wait. She only answered me "on the way edi" when I asked for her location. That pissed me off quite a bit. So I waited. Then it was 30 minutes pass the promised time. I called again, and still she told me she was on the way. Eff ar?!!! 30 minutes still on the way, coming from Negeri Sembilan meh? In the end she arrived 1 hour and 25 minutes after the promised time. I was so pissed I didn't even talk to her until an hour later. And this was a girl, if it was a guy, I would've chopped off his LJ right on the spot.

I know some of you really like to do things taking your own sweet time. What's the rush? Enjoy life. Right? It's a wonderful thing if we are able to do things on our own pace and not rush ourselves. That is if you're the one being late. Imagine if you're all ready and waiting and the other person is late coz they're busy taking their own sweet time. So now how? You're time is wasted waiting for the other person coz they're late!

Time is precious. Once it's gone, it's gone for good. So why should one's time be wasted on the expense of another who simply take too much of their own sweet time?

If you're not fond of people being late and you hate waiting for people, don't be late yourself.

I effing hate people who are late. Seriously.

Latest updates...

OMG I haven't been updating my blog at all for days already. I feel so guilty for not updating, even more guilty then when I skip my classes everyday. It's just that I've been kinda preoccupied and have absolutely nothing interesting to blog about.

But since a post is long over due now, I'm gonna let you guys in on what I've been doing lately.

Prepared sandwiches for Brownie few days back. It was a 4 layered sandwich with canned dog food (lamb meat) and a slice of BBQ flavoured cheese. I know it's unhealthy for dogs to eat so much dairy products but Brownie is a sucker for dairy products. She loves cookies, biscuits, bread, cake, milk, anything dairy, you name it, she loves it.

I haven't been to uni for more than a week now. It's already four weeks since the semester started and I've only went to uni like 3 times or so? I know I should feel ashamed of myself for wasting my parent's money but I seriously feel like giving up on my degree already. I don't feel that I'm surrounded by good friends when I'm in the uni. It's like my course mates are just people doing the same course as I am, but they're not my friends. There's this assignment this sem which requires 5 person to form a group. In my so called gang, we have 4 girls, so it should be automatically arranged as 4 girls in a group with another guy. Right? I dunno about you, but I think it should naturally be that way. But no, I was left out. The other 3 girls formed a group with another 2 guys which I didn't bother to find out anyway. So I had to form another group with the juniors, but that was fine by me. But in a way I guess I felt like I was someone expandable. How depressing. Then again they can't really be blamed since I hardly ever join them for outings. You'd know why.

Anyway, next on my list, I'm currently no longer that addicted to Pet Society. Instead I'm addicted to Baking Life, an application in Facebook if you must know. =.= It's actually a lame game, but lame people like me need lame games to make my life less lame, if that even make any sense. LOL.

Went to Pavilion with a junior of mine back in secondary school last Thursday. Pauline is her name and she's 3 years younger than me, and the last time I saw her she was only 13 and a very boyish lil girl. Now she's all grown up and so feminine nonetheless. I feel like a mother who's daughter had suddenly grew up. WTF!!! Watched Knight and Day with her and the movie was great even though Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz were obviously really old in the movie. Did some shopping with Pauline and she got herself a pair of shoes while I got myself a pair of really nice jeans and a dress. ^^ I'm such a shopaholic I know. XDXD No pictures of Pauline btw, forgotten to take photos. Oh, a blog reader recognized me in Forever21 coz I heard her whispering to her friends mentioning "JunJun-Riko". Didn't say hi though coz I was really shy at the moment. *paiseh*

Went out to the movie with Louis on Friday night at Pavilion. He managed to get a pair of complementary tickets so we watched The A-Team. A very very excellent movie indeed. LOL. Managed to watch the football match between Brazil and Portugal just before the movie started, nothing special bout the game though.

Oh, I tried out the Aloe Vera BB Cream sample that I got from Skinfood earlier on. And I love it so much. It smells so nice and refreshing, and it's light on the skin too. Feels and looks natural. Louis kept praising that I was beautiful that night. Hahahahaha!!! And I bought the 50g Aloe Vera BB Cream from Skinfood already. =p

DSC06667 copy
No photoshop at all!!!

Headed back to Kuantan this morning coz it's the 100th day since my uncle passed. There are still 4 puppies back in my cousin's place and they're all really fat and cute. Hahahaha. It's a pity they can't find any nice family to adopt the puppies. My cousin/grandma's place already have 1 dog in the back lawn, 2 dogs in the house, and now 4 puppies? It's gonna be like hell.

So here comes the end of my very long rant post. Will be heading to Pavilion again tomorrow with my mom and sis to do some shopping. Mom's looking for a dress for her company's upcoming annual dinner.

Haha. 3 times to Pavilion in 4 days! Awesome. =)

Tiger dog

Saw this really outstanding dog while I was having breakfast with Ven and Cheez last 2 weeks.

DSC06502 copy
A tiger dog!!!

DSC06503 copy
A closer shot of its print.

The prints are drawn on to the dog if you must know. I'm just really curious bout something, is doing something like that to a dog considered as inhuman? Then what about owners who dye their toy poodle pink? What's the diff? Although this tiger dog looks really beautiful, I still think it's so pitiful... How did it ever sat so still for the person to draw that on his body???!!!

Poor doggie...

PD + Malacca Trip

Remember the trip I had to Port Dickson few weeks back? Well, I finally got some of the photos. There're still some with Andy who's now in UK, so it'll be quite a long time before I get the rest of them. It sucks. =.=

Anyway, here's a brief update bout the trip. I don't remember if I've mentioned this, but we stayed at the Tiara Beach Resort during our 3 days 2 night trip. We took 2 of the Family Deluxe since there're 8 of us. There were suppose to be bout 11 of us but 3 of them couldn't make it.

Here's the link to view the photos of the Family Deluxe if you're interested, didn't manage to take photos of the room itself since I got there late, and after the BBQ, I was just too darn tired. LOL.

So let's start off...

Day 1 - BBQ dinner till midnight

IMG_3993 copy
We had our BBQ by the Bayu Beach. Beautiful isn't it?

None of the photos from the BBQ will be uploaded since all of us look hideously covered in smoke not to mention the heat from all the BBQ. LOL. (Ok la, actually it's just me being too ugly so I don't wanna upload the photos.) We didn't even take photos of all the food coz we were all too busy eating. The guys even went and chased after a rat after Moon screamed with horror upon sawing it. LOL.

IMG_4132 copy
Funny effect shot of Andy and Daniel. Drawing courtesy of Moon. Not edited.

After the BBQ we all just went back and took our shower and cleaned up everything. Then we had Peach Vodka and chatted around. It wasn't too long till everyone got so tired and decided to just head on to bed. LOL.

Day 2 - Around PD the whole day

Woke up quite early in the morning considering that we slept quite late the night before. I think it was bout 9++am. All of us gathered in 1 of the 2 Family Deluxe rooms and had our breakfast there. There were noodle cups, chocolate cake that I baked for everyone, chicken wings, bread, coffee, tea, etc.

DSC_0038 copy
Yums~ =p

We were suppose to head over to the ostrich farm after our breakfast but everyone got so lazy after eating so the guys hang out in the living room playing some games on their Ipod or something like that I think, while the girls chilled out in the room gossiping. Haha. Bout few hours later we dragged the guys out to bring us shopping at the stalls set up near the Port Dickson Beach. =p

IMG_4148 copy
I look weird in the hat I know. =.=

The weather was so hot we all had ice cream. It felt great eating ice cream in such a hot weather. Hehe. Then as the heat got worst, the gang got more goofy.

IMG_4177 copy

Andy and Wilson tried their best, but failed!!! LOL.

After shopping we wanted to head back to the Go-Cart race track located next to the resort but it was kinda expensive so we passed instead. Headed back to our rooms. We were suppose to go to Bayu Beach again to take more awesome photos at the beach but it started to rain, so we went down to the resort's swimming pool instead.

Oh did you know Tiara Beach Resort is well known for the biggest man made beach in Malaysia? Yup. They have smooth and soft sands around their big pools. =) No photos of us at the pool since those DSLR are too precious. LOL.

After playing in the pool for almost 2hours, it was time for dinner. We went to a nearby seafood restaurant and had our dinner. After that we went back to the resorts and took alot of photos. Too bad most photos turned out quite badly. LOL.

The gang~

Headed back to our room after that and had snacks like potato chips and stuff. Haha. I miss those chips. Even finished up the Peach Vodka from the night before, and also finished off the Hennessy that I brought along. LOL. Andy and Daniel got really drunk that night. XD

Day 3 - Malacca trip

Woke up quite late coz everyone was too tired. After finished packing we did some goofy photo shooting in the living room. No photos here coz I've yet to receive them. T____T

Went out to a nearby Chinese restaurant and had our brunch. We then talked bout going up to Genting Highland casino, then talked bout going to the karaokes and also having some tong sui. We ended up going to Malacca instead. LOL.

DSC_0242 copy
I actually dunno where is this place and I have no memory of passing by it either. o.O

DSC_0181 copy
XD

DSC_0166 copy
Stupid meows. XD

Walked around the streets of Malacca and shopped around. tried out their chicken rice balls but I didn't like it at all. I've never liked wet rice.

DSC_0190 copy
Since we're KL people, we shopped in the shopping mall as well. LOL.

DSC_0210 copy
Went and had the many layers cake, sorta like crepes. Didn't like it either. Not rich enough for me.

CSC_0239 copy
Bought this fan for like 3 for RM10. Came in handy especially since Malacca was so hot.

DSC_0244 copy
It was almost night time... =p

DSC_0252 copy
A last group photo before we went for a walk at the night market.

Notice I changed my clothes? LOL. I actually changed twice. Haha. I'm a shopaholic, no doubt.

Had a great time during that weekend trip, and would gladly do it again some time soon!!!

Check out my previous visit to PD with my jimuis, stayed in Tiara Beach Resort too.

Oh btw, the whole trip cost us only bout RM200 or so. Dad managed to get awesome rates for our accommodation since Tiara Beach Resort is somewhat related to the company my dad is working in, Oilcorp Bhd,  but I'm not sure how. =)

Celebrated my Birthday with Louis

After breakfast with Ven and Cheez on last Saturday's morning, I went home and had a short rest. Then Louis came and pick me up at 3.30pm to celebrate my birthday in advance coz I had a birthday dinner celebration with my family on my actual birthday.

DSC06519 copy

I wore a black long dress, nothing too fancy. Had my gold accessories on, which I love alot. =) My make up on that day was brilliant. LOL. Not too heavy and really really nice. IMO. LOL. Not to mention I was having a good hair day as well. =p

DSC06526 copy

Took some pictures with Louis when we were at the traffic light.

DSC06528 copy
Both of us doing that signature piggy pout. XD

So we headed to Mid Valley to get ourselves some movie tickets. It has been quite a long time since I went to Mid Valley for movies. Louis got us tickets to Prince of Persia. We got the 2D tickets, coz I didn't really wanna watch it in 3D. But it was kinda weird that the 3D movie was is a small hall, while the 2D movie was in a big hall. And the 3D tickets cost RM12 each whereas the 2D tickets cost RM14 each. Why ar??? *blur*

After getting the tickets, we just walked around Mid Valley. Didn't really did any shopping coz I was too busy talking. Haha.

Then Louis said we should head over to The Gardens for a walk. Then he brought me walking around almost the whole Gardens and then finally leaded me into YUZU, a Japanese restaurant located on the top floor of The Gardens.

Our view.

We were seated at a corner of the restaurant, near a large ceiling-floor window, giving us that beautiful night view. =) The whole interior of the restaurant was just beautiful. It wasn't too dimmed and the ambiance was quiet and peaceful. None of those noises of large families dining together. I like!

DSC06553 copy
A picture of Louis with his coat. =p

DSC06545 copy
And me, the birthday girl. =p

DSC06575 copy
This is just some random photo of Louis's watch. LOL.

There were many things on the menu that I really like to try out but I'm kinda on a diet right now so I can't eat rice or anything with high carbohydrates. So here's what we ordered.

DSC06572 copy
Wagyu Isshiyaki - RM55

DSC06571 copy
Hokkai Nabe - RM68

DSC06570 copy
Chawan Mushi - RM6

DSC06569 copy
Baby Hotake - RM35

The food was awesome. Everything tasted absolutely perfect. The Wagyu Isshiyaki was tender and juicy. The Hokkai Nabe had scallops, large prawns, and big slices of salmon in it, and the soup tasted just nice. I'm not a big fan of Chawan Mushi so I have no comment, but Louis said it tasted nice. The Baby Hotake was the one you must try. The scallop was so fresh and sweet at the same time. Simply awesome.

After dinner we just sat and talked a bit. Then it was time to open my gift. Hehe. It's a long awaited moment for me. LOL.

Beautifully wrapped.

White with gold. =)

DSC06598 copy
It goes perfectly with my white and gold handbag from Valentino. =)

I moved all the stuff from my old purse to the new one at the moment itself. LOL. We headed for our movie at 9.30pm. The movie turned out really really good. Loved the whole story line. I enjoyed the movie very much. Those of you who have not watch the movie, go quickly. =)

After our movie, we went back to the Old Town cafe at Sri Rampai for some drinks. After chatting till it was quite late, Louis sent me home. But before dropping me off at my house, he stopped nearby and asked me to close my eyes while he get something from his car boot. I knew it was another gift but I didn't really knew what to expect.

When he told me to open my eyes, I was surprised!!! It was a teddy bear! It was all wrapped up and it looked like a big bundle of cotton!!! I was darn right happy at that time. LOL.

DSC06605 copy
Taken in the car, can see how happy I was. LOL.

DSC06611 copy
Took this at home.

DSC06613 copy
It doesn't look as big when I sat next to it.

But when I unwrapped it, it was really really big! And heavy too!!!

DSC06622 copy
Big bear named Lap Lap. ^^

It's pearl white with very soft and smooth fur. Cute!!! I'm guessing it's bout 120cm or so, with a waist line about 160cm? Not too sure, but definitely the biggest bear I have so far. ^^

Happy~!!! LOL.

Thanks Louis for the wonderful celebration and the beautiful gifts. =p

Funny encounter

Scenario1:

Went to uni today for the 2nd time since the semester started 3 weeks ago. =p

Ok the above sentence alone should be sufficient enough to be a funny encounter ok? XD

Scenario 2:

Was at the canteen when my course mate said he saw a leng lui nearby. He kept going on bout how big her eyes were and how much he finds them attractive. So I of coz paid full attention to her whereabouts just to verify what my course mate said. She was kinda far away from me so I didn't really know how she look like except that she had a very slim body.

Then as we went to our class, she was in the same block too. Still, I didn't manage to catch how she look like. Nvm. Then as we were about to leave for another class, I saw her right outside the elevator. This time, I got a clear look for her face.

Verdict: She's wearing ultra enlarging dark blue contact lenses. FYI, her eye whites can hardly be seen anymore. Well, That explains the attractive large eyes my course mate was so hype up bout. =.="

Scenario 3:

A girl who had just done her groceries shopping took a taxi back home. By the time she arrive home, the meter showed RM4.00. So the girl paid RM5.00 and waited for her change. The taxi driver return a RM1 note to the girl and said "No 10 cents...".

The girl replied "Oh, nvm la...".

Then she took a sneak at the meter again just before she carried all her groceries off the taxi. The meter showed RM4.10.

The girl realized that the taxi driver was asking her for additional 10 cents, and not telling her that he has no 10cents change to give her.

Imagine how the taxi driver felt when she said "Oh, nvm la..." when he asked for extra money. LOL.

The girl was me. Hahahaha! FHL.

Disturbed

If you're a reader of the blog that I'm writing about in this post, you will know what I'm talking about. If not, too bad.

I've been following this blog quite frequently since a year ago I think. I think that the author is quite beautiful and had a very nice character, not that I know her anyway, just an impression. Then the author came along and wrote a very long post on a topic bout how come non beautiful looking people get to date beautiful people etc.

I read the post in a very non judgmental way and I have to say, I don't really agree with what the author wrote. However, it was until I read a paragraph in the post that made me felt disturbed. Somewhat repulsed. And the following paragraph is what I got so stirred up about.

"So in my opinion ugly people should only date ugly people. In that way the beauty of nature will not be disrupted. What’s already ugly stays ugly (aiya we can’t do much about it la. Lost cause already. How the hell do you undo pollution, for example? You just preserve more forest, etc etc), and we save the beautiful (well, beauty might be arguably subjective, but ugliness is mostly not). Think pedigree. If you have a champion bloodline Siberian Husky, would you stupidly go and mate it with some shit ass looking mongrel? (Unless the mongrel pays you shitloads of money, which again reinforces the fact that human is so driven by money.)"

So now humans are compared to dogs? If humans were to be compared to dogs, here's a thought for you. How come pure breeds among dogs are so valuable but mixed breed of humans are worth more than pure breed? (Someone with mixed blood of Chinese and Europeans are consider more attractive than someone who's pure Chinese). Anyway, that's not the point here.

So coz of that post, many readers left comments agreeing with her, which was a surprise to me. But then when you post something so controversial, hate comments are bound to flow in as well. The author deleted some harsh ones I suppose, but there are still a few left. Amongst them were a few comments calling the author ugly, which was stupid and plain childish coz the author is if anything not ugly. I can't help to look down on people who call other people ugly just coz they have an opinion different from yours. There are however, a few very logical comments too.

The author then posted another post of apology, but a sarcastic one. I thought that wasn't needed at all, but I get it coz it feels unfair when people say mean stuff to you just because they don't get your sense of humor/sarcasm. I didn't like what the author wrote, but I get it. For the apology post, in it there were 2 comments from the readers which attracted me. The below 2 are the comments.

"I really enjoy reading your blog, but this issue has saddened me a lot.

Beauty should not be seen as something physical, but more of something which a person posses in their general aura. I won’t try to sound too flower child about this issue but I think you were really insensitive to a lot of people.

As a person with many readers, instead of sounding so vain and ignorant why not support other people and try to make them feel more beautiful? You ARE beautiful on the outside, but even you posses some ugliness on the inside, these last few posts have really shown it.

I won’t stop reading your blog, as it’s got some really good things to read about. But this has just made me and I’m pretty sure a lot of other readers question our general opinion of you.

While yes I agree with you, and I do think the first thing a person notices in another person is their looks. And only naturally do people go for the most attractive person in a group, but what you wrote was really lowering to people’s self esteem.

As well as the comment about children, I thought it was just terribly disrespectful. Would you ever say that to your mother of father? Or your brother’/sister’s baby? You love someone for them, their looks and flaws and all.

It left me wondering with the question, if you consider yourself so beautiful then who will ever be good enough for you?

Good luck."

"i had been following ur blog for 2 years and it struck me pretty hard.its not about whether youre pretty or not, and dont say we terasa cos we think we are ugly. i dont think im ugly, but its offensive and rather insulting like “mommy dont care how you will look like so i fucked your daddy” or something along that line. do u actually think people thought of that when conceiving? =.=” so if you managed to marry a supergoodlooking man but ur baby turned out ugly youre not gonna love him/her?

seriously, it reflects how immature you actually are. nobody ever set a rule saying ugly people should marry ugly people and viceversa. why must you keep ur mind narrowed to that extent? so just bcs people say youre ugly now u wanna get ugly partner?"

Anyway, I get the author was just being sarcastic, but I have to admit, it went way overboard. It even changed my impression towards the author, as if it matters in the first place. This post was not written to gain traffic as the author is one of Malaysia's top celebrity blogger, so no names are mentioned. This post is plain IMO.

Celebrated my birthday during breakfast

Ven came to KL during the weekend and we decided to meet up for breakfast on Saturday. We went for dim sum along Jalan Ipoh, but the dim sum there was rather disappointing.

Since it was a day before my birthday, Ven and Cheez bought me a chocolate cake.

DSC06504 copy
Surprise!!!

It was everyone's first time celebrating birthday in the morning. LOL. We're all not morning people. LOL.

Today is my 22nd Birthday!!!

Today, I turn 22.

I know, 22 sounds so old. Only few years back I turned 18, and now I'm 22.

Devastated bout my age but I'm still happy today is my birthday. =p

DSC06428 copy

I celebrated with my jimuis at Friendscino on Friday night, not knowing there was a Crocs event there that night which quite alot of bloggers I know were present too including Chris Tock, Wen Pink, Joshua, Ren, Jason etc. Oh, Josh from Adverlets was also there, they all sang me a birthday song, which I felt very touched coz amongst them were a few whom I don't even know. =) Thanks for the birthday song guys. ^^

Anyway, celebrated my birthday with Ven and Cheez yesterday during breakfast at Jalan Ipoh, thanks for the cake. ^^

Then celebrated with Louis for the rest of the Saturday.

Today, I'm just gonna rest at home and celebrate my birthday via dinner with the family. =)

*p/s: Did my nails again, just very quick and brief process, took me only an hour for the whole 10 fingers to be done. =)
