Ecoba with the guys again

Yup, went to Ecoba Restaurant and Bar with the guys again. This time we actually got a table indoor. We were late as usual of coz, thanks to Louis. =.=

DSC06291 copy
Random shot of the lighting.

I didn't quite like the indoor as much as the outdoor though, too much smoke and too noisy.

Our table.

I finally had the chance to order the food there coz we made it in time just before the kitchen closes. The food was not bad but there's room for improvement. =p Didn't drink a single drop of alcohol that night, wanna be healthy. Haha.

I didn't manage to take a photo with Abby even though I sat right next to her at the table. So that's the only pic I have of her. T__T

Got the chance to take lotsa photos with me in them compared to the last time. Hahaha.

A very brief and simple update coz there isn't much to tell. =.= I need a more interesting life.

My eyes look weird

Life has been rather boring lately. As in I don't have anything special to blog about. I still go out with friends as usual, but updating bout stuff like that is kinda boring, don't you think so? Especially since I always look the same in every photos I take. WTF.

DSC06375 copy

The above photo was taken few days back. I think my eyes look kinda weird. Like one is bigger than the other. And I think my eyes are rather small too. I wish they were bigger, and with longer lashes too. Does putting contact lenses on really make your eyes look bigger? I've never tried one on before, I'm afraid I'd have an allergy reaction to them. Haha. I'm having trouble taking photos whereby my eye make up is more visible. In reality, the eye make up I had on was quite heavy already. But it doesn't show in photos. I wonder what do those girls who's photos show that they have heavy eye make up on really look like in real life... Hmmmm...

Anyway, I think my new semester is starting soon. On Monday, I guess. Kinda lazy to ask any of my coursemates so I'm just gonna wait till the last minute again. It's not like I would attend classes anyway. Wouldn't make much difference. Argh... I can feel myself quitting my degree in my last semester. It's just too boring!!! And I'm too lazy!!!

Oh ya, I'm short of money, for real. Any part time job that doesn't involve me leaving the house? LOL.

Don't like my results

Results for last semester out edi.

And I don't like it.

It's not too bad, not too good.

Exactly in the middle.

And I super hate it.

Dulan.

That's what I get for not studying properly.

Not gonna slack off the next semester.

Delicious with Robin Hood

Had my last paper 2 weeks back. My aunt came and brought us lunch from Puchong. It was a really yummy and filling lunch, we had Bak Kut Teh. XDXD

Anyway, Louis decided to bring me out for dinner that night. We planned to go for western food at Puchong but I was kinda worried bout the jam, so he brought me to Delicious at Jalan Tun Razak instead.

DSC06043 copy
The menu

I took this photo on the request of Louis. He was really amazed that a menu with so many words had no pictures at all. He was really eager to show it to his colleagues that such menu does exist. =.=

We ordered quite a lot of food that night. Dunno why but the both of us tend to order more than what we could handle. =.=

Wild Mushroom Soup

DSC06085 copy
Crispy Fried Mushrooms

DSC06090 copy
4 Cheese Macaroni

DSC06092 copy
Carbonara Spaghetti

The food was just okay though. The wild mushroom soup was nice but I still preferred Dome's. The crispy fried mushrooms were a let down compared to the ones they served in San Francisco Steak House. The 4 cheese macaroni was okay too but too much for a person to finish. The carbonara spaghetti lack taste and I added quite alot of salt and pepper. =.=

The lighting in the restaurant was quite dimmed and my stupid digicam couldn't take any nice shots. =.=

DSC06102 copy
Me~

So I managed to take a nice shot of Louis and the picture turned out quite ok, as in the colors and brightness.

DSC06048 copy
Not bad right?

So I insisted that he took an exactly same shot of me as well. It took quite a lot of trial and error if you wanna know. XD

DSC06157 copy
Finally I got my satisfactory pic!

DSC06159 copy
Another one! XD

DSC06175 copy
Me and Louis

Took the above photo using timer. Haha.

We headed back to Wangsa Walk after our dinner to join the guys for Robin Hood at 11.55pm.

The movie wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was quite ok I guess but the ending was rather too quick. Non the less, a movie worth paying for. Click here to read more bout the movie's synopsis.

Oh btw, Wangsa Walk's TGV cinema isn't that bad at all. It's seats are wide and spacious, comfy too, and you get to rest your head on the back of the seat too. Not bad! An improvement compared to the older existing TGV cinemas definitely.

PD trip was awesome!

I'm finally back from my 3 days 2 nights PD trip with the gang. We even went up to Malacca on the last day of our trip till after dinner. It was awesome.

I rushed back from Kuantan and quickly took a shower then Louis came and pick me up and headed on to PD to meet with rest of the gang at Bayu beach for our BBQ.

DSC06200 copy
Me in the car.

DSC06201 copy
Thanks Louis for staying back to fetch me there. =p

DSC06206 copy
Love this shades so much. =p

Anyway, believe it or not, as we arrived at the Bayu beach parking lot bout 6.30pm, Andy and Daniel's cars were right behind us. What a coincidence!!! XD

Then we all helped carry all the BBQ stuff to the beach. We had lotsa of foods and drinks and big box of ice. There were lotsa meat, like 20 lamb shoulders, 35 chicken wings, dunno how many pork chops and chicken chops, mushrooms and coleslaw as well as chocolate cake. OMG everybody ate till so full. We couldn't finish the chicken chop and pork chop and they had to be thrown away. What a waste. But the food was really awesome! Thanks to Andy and Moon for their excellent marinating skill. Haha.

DSC06212 copy
The beautiful sun behind me...

DSC06209 copy
Me with the beach again. Haha.

The BBQ was just too awesome, it's so gonna happen again next time!!! Haha. Anyway, that's all the photos I have from my digicam. I'll update more bout the trip once I get the photos from Andy and Daniel's DSLR. =p

I miss waking up in the morning to see the gang... Woke up this morning feeling very lonely. XD

PD trip this weekend

IMG_0580 copy

Yay... Can't wait for the trip to Port Dickson with the girls and the guys this weekend. It's been quite a long time since I went on a trip with them. But it's kinda sad that not all of the jimuis are able to make it this time due to some unexpected changes. Sigh~

I've gotta go back to Kuantan to pray for my uncle, it's the 7th week since his funeral. I'll be going back to Kuantan first thing in the morning tomorrow, then head back down to KL once the praying ceremony is done. Then Louis will come pick me up and head to Port Dickson to join the rest of the gang for BBQ at Bayu Beach. Hope it doesn't rain though...

We'll be staying at Tiara Beach Resort again, just like the last time.

Hope everything goes well!!!

Alright gotta go now... Gonna head to Jusco to get the ingredients coz I've gotta bake a chocolate cake and prepare coleslaw for tomorrow's BBQ party by the beach. =p

DBKL came for Brownie

Just as the title said, DBKL came for Brownie this morning.

It was bout 11am when Brownie started barking very loudly. I was still asleep so it took me quite some time to response to her barking. As I went downstairs and opened the door, a Chinese man was standing outside our gate. Turns out he was with the DBKL and asked to look at Brownie's dog license.

It was one of those FML moments of my life coz I was in pajamas, messy hair, my eyes could hardly focus on anything, and I wasn't wearing any bra. WTF. No time to put on a bra, I had to go look for the dog license.

Having applied one for dunno how many months ago, my dad was in charge of keeping it. As usual, like every other air heads in the family, he misplaced the license. Oh I'm not mocking my dad, but my whole family are air heads. Mom can never be on time and forgets where she places her phone or car keys. Dad's almost the same as in he's always too casual bout everything except for work and cooking. I guess I inherited the genes from them, I can't concentrate well and I'm careless. My sis probably is the least air head among the family I think.

Back to the story, so I couldn't find the dog license at the location as per said by my dad. I searched the whole study room's drawer like a hurricane hit it, but no dog license. Brownie somehow knew she was in trouble coz she was just lying down on the floor with her head between her paws and eyes looking up at me.

I called my dad and asked him to have a word with the DBKL man. So they did. I wasn't around to listen to their conversation though. So by the end of the conversation, the DBKL man handed me a yellow paper (letter of complaint). On the paper, it stated that the reason of complaint was that Brownie's barking was a nuisance to the neighbours.

I wasn't one bit surprised by the reason though. I knew it was only a matter of time until someone complaints, but I didn't know it would be through the DBKL.

My mom has always put in effort to be on good terms with the neighbours, which I've always thought it to be a waste of time and pointless. Unlike being in the apartment/flats neighbourhood, you don't really need neighbours coz you hardly see them. Unless of coz, you're in an all Chinese/ all Indian/ all Malay neighbourhood. I'm not being racist but it's true, people tend to look out for their kind.

Anyway, to me I think my mom had a rather not bad relationship with the neighbours. Perhaps 5-6 houses near to us. The houses on our left and right were unoccupied so you can imagine how far away with the neighbours did my mom tried to have good connections with.

It's rather disappointing and kinda pisses me off that the neighbours never considered bringing their complaint directly to my mom and instead to the DBKL. It's like a friend not trying to advice you when you did something wrong and instead called to the authorities directly.

Trust me, I'm not bitter coz they filed a complaint on Brownie. I am as annoyed by her barking as they could possibly be. You see, ever since Brownie went for an operation to be neutered last 2 weeks, my mom chains her outside the door in our lawn every morning as my family heads out. Then Brownie would howl/bark for quite a long time coz she thinks she's been abandoned. This has been going on for 2 weeks now. I've tried calming her every morning and then go back to sleep, but it still happens the next day, and so, that's what I've been doing every morning for the past 2 weeks.

Not to mention it is the busiest time of the day in the morning. A lot of suspicious looking people will walk pass our neighborhood slipping brochures over our gate, and Brownie barks at them, a lot. Who blames her? They are indeed very suspicious looking like people who take drugs and would kidnap your children anytime any day.

So that's Brownie's reason for barking. I'm not defending her coz I'm actually quite worn out with all the barking in the morning.

I'm still quite pissed that the neighbours didn't bother to bring their complaint directly to our family. Their children don't have a problem coming to our front gate playing with Brownie, but they have a problem when she barks coz there are suspicious looking people walking around.

I don't see us filing complaints to the DBKL about their cats breaking into our house by pushing the mosquito net down from the window and then climbing up to the top of our curtains, or their cats breaking an entry and stealing our fish from the dining table, now do we?

Why do we even bother surviving in a place which we're the minorities, it beats the hell out of me.

The DBKL Chinese man was surprisingly polite though. =)

That's my sis and Brownie when we first got her.

Brownie's still at home right now sleeping as I'm writing this post in the air conditioned room. The license will be checked in the next 3 days.

Ecoba with the guys

Headed to Ecoba Restaurant and Bar located at PJ Trade Center just last Saturday night. The guys were there quite early but Louis and I only headed out of the house at 11.30pm coz Louis can never be on time. =.=

Anyway, Ecoba is a very nice place to chill out. They serve fusion and western, with all sort of alcoholic drinks too. And best of all, their prices are all NETT and cheap!!! Check out their web page here.

Photos time.

Then the photos taking session continues.

At that moment, Stanley was taking off his glasses for Rachel to pose for the photo. I dunno why but I look very irritated by them in the photo. LOL.

I'm so relieved finals is over. One more semester and I'll graduate!!! *horrifying nightmares of me not able to get a job after graduation*

Mr. Perfect4Me

Guys like to ask girls what type of guy do they like. And the girls tend to answer the question very generally, especially me. Coz I don't seem to see the point of me answering the question when I know it is most certainly impossible to find that kind of guy.

Let's start off with the basics...

I want a guy who is taller than me.
A guy who is intellectually compatible or better than me.
A guy who's looks need not be like a superstar, just compatible with me will do. (Coz I hate it when people start commenting that the gf looks better than the bf or other wise.)
A guy who can speak fluent English.
A guy who dresses up appropriately according to occasions.
A guy who is goal directed and does his best in everything he does.
A guy who has a good future.
A guy who can manage himself well.
A guy who is matured and doesn't make silly jokes (coz I'm a really uptight person).

Then the add ons...

A guy who puts me before others (friends, family and stuff) just so I'll know he loves me.
A guy who shows interest in what I have to say and wants to share stuff with me just so I'll know he wants me to be a part of his life.
A guy who can't wait to hear my voice when he opens his eyes just so I'll know each morning that he still loves me the way he did yesterday.
A guy who would think of me when he is happy or sad just so I'll know I am a part of him.
A guy who thinks I'm the most beautiful girl in the world just so I'll know he belongs to me whole heartedly.
A guy who is patient with me even when I sulk for no reasons just so I'll know he cares.
A guy who would kiss and hug me even when I push him away just so I'll know he would always be there for me no matter what.
A guy who stands by my side no matter what others say about me just so I'll know he believes in me.
A guy who will never ever flirt with any other girls just so I'll know he would never hurt me.
A guy who will never lie to my face just so I'll know I can trust him.
A guy who will do whatever he can to make me happy just so I'll know he would protect me.
A guy who will make time for me even if he's darn busy just so I'll know I'm important to him.
A guy who doesn't mind bringing me on dates even when there's no particular reasons just so I'll know he wants the whole world to know I'm his.
A guy who will never make me wait just so I'll know I can rely on him.
A guy who tries to understand the thing that I care about just so I'll know he is trying.
A guy who would sing to me just because I want him to just so I'll know he is sweet to me.
A guy who would eat the food I cook even if it tasted awful just so I'll know he would never upset me.
A guy who will never stop loving me no matter what I do or say just so I'll know I loved the right guy in the first place.

This guy doesn't exist in real life btw.

Joxin's 22nd Birthday

It was bout 2 weeks ago during Joxin's 22nd birthday dinner celebration. We had our dinner at Werner's at Changkat Bukit Bintang. The place was really nice, but the food was just okay. Some were nice and some were less than average. Didn't had the the privilege of testing any of their alcoholic drinks though coz we had plans for Solaris later that night.
