I'm doing fine now

Hi everyone, I'm back.

I was really very emotional and depressed 2 weeks back, but I've been getting better since last week.

I realized that I'm surrounded with people who care, and it's just really touching for me to know that.

I had friends who MSN me just to cheered me up, some called me, text me, and some even gave me gifts.

I had this very lovely card from Ven and her bf, Cheez. It was their token of care towards me. Ven is all the way in Singapore so she had Cheez helped to send the card to my doorstep. Imagine the effort and heart that they poured out just coz I was feeling upset. I'm really very grateful to have them as my friends. =)

Then I had a surprise delivered to my doorstep on last Saturday by Vincent Tan. He's a really old friend, since 2004. He gave me a bouquet of flowers, white lilies and pink roses to be exact. The bouquet of flowers were really pretty to look at, and he also gave me a card wishing me well.

I had no idea how coincidental it was since white lilies are my favorites.

I kept the flowers in my room for the first few days, they were really pretty and had such a sweet and refreshing scent. It sorta comfort me alot.

I had the pleasure of having the flowers with me up until today coz they're still looking so pretty.

Anyway, this post is just a note to you guys that I'm doing fine now, and I really appreciate all the care and love that I was showered with.

Secret

I dunno how many of you are readers of my blog since 2008 and are still readers of my blog right now.

If you're one of them, you'd guess what this post is about.

2008, 2009 and 2010. How quickly time flies.

Every single detail, I remember them vividly.

I remember the words, thoughts and feelings that were shared.

And also the tears I shed, all alone, in the dark, in my room, whole day long, for months.

It doesn't hurt as much as it did last year, but it still hurts.

Time does heal, but not quick enough.

The scar remains forever though.

I'm just glad I won't be forgotten.

It's the end now, but I haven't found my new beginning.

I'll recover, I promise you...

I might be taking a short break from blogging again. I hope things will turn out well.

Obsessed with Pet Society in Facebook

I'm writing this post at 1.50am, Saturday. I am currently very very very obsessed with Pet Society and Pet Ville in Facebook. LOL. I dunno why but I can't seem to stop playing them. Especially Pet Society. My pet is just so darn cute.

Haven't even started my assignment or Chapter 2 for my FYP, and I haven't been to uni for a week now. I totally skipped a week's class. OMG. Whole day long facing Facebook. LOL. To think I'm in my final year. I'm hopeless.

Btw, Brownie ran away from home yesterday, again. Coz the darn stupid garbage man opened the gate to take the rubbish out but didn't close the gate back, and Brownie escaped!!! Darn that garbage man, and darn Brownie. Gave her a good spanking after I managed to catch her. I had to chase after her for a distance of 10 minutes walk. OMG. It happened at 12.30noon. And I had to run after her calling her name non stop. Upon capturing her, I had to hand carry her back home coz she wasn't wearing her collar and I forgot to bring her leash out as I was in a hurry. Imagine carrying 10kg worth of meat under the striking hot sun. OMG. FML. WTF.

My arms are strength-less now. Thank goodness I'm not a guy or self pleasuring will not be happening anytime soon. XD

Dad's Birthday!

So you guys remember that my mom's birthday was on the 6th of March right? Well my dad's birthday is only 1 week after hers. So we headed out for dinner as celebration again on last Saturday.

We decided to go dine in at a Thai restaurant that my dad and sis once went, located at Ampang Point.

The place was very nicely decorated, couldn't take photos of the place coz it was full house and it just didn't seem right to take photos of people eating their dinner. XD

I like the feeling of the picture. It had that fisherman village kinda feel. My sis even asked, "Whoah, the bridge is so scary. Wouldn't people just fell down into the water if they missed their steps?" LOL.

Anyway, they had lotsa seafood variety in their menu such as prawns, stingrays, fish, lala, siham, squids, and also non seafood like veges, beancurd, beef and chicken. They had individual meals too if you're dining for 1-2 pax. They had desserts too, but we didn't order them coz we bought a Secret Recipe cake back home as my dad's birthday cake.

Ice Mango Lemonade - RM8.00

Honeydew Juice - RM6.00

The drink was awesome. =p

They had this keropok tidbits - RM3.00 together with their amazing chili sauce which was really yummy!

Tom Yam Putih - RM28.00

The Tom Yam soup may look really not worth it coz it's small in portion as shown in the picture above. But it's not. It's actually served in a very big pot, but the waitress were kind enough to serve it to us in smaller bowls. The whole big pot consists of squids, 4 tiger prawns, clams, mushrooms, crabsticks and stuff. The big pot was then divided equally to 4 bowls which were not small to begin with. Bigger than the bowls you get when you dine at a Chinese wedding dinner. XD Not to mention the tiger prawns in the soup. OMG. You would think that the prawns would be overcooked but they're not. They tasted really sweet and fresh, and crunchy too! The Tom Yam's aroma was just great!

Butter and Milk Prawns - RM28.00

This is by far my favourite dish. The butter and milk sauce tasted just nice, not the kind that would make you feel sick after eating too much of it. The prawns were bouncy and juicy. When you put the whole prawn into your mouth and take a bite, you could feel the prawn's juice and the butter & milk sauce evolving into a tornado in your mouth!!!

Stingray Bakar - RM10.00

This dish had my eyeballs popping out. At first in the menu I saw it was only RM10.00 so I thought it would be a very small portion, like those you would have when you order form a Chinese hawker stall. But no, it was huge! Almost like a medium pizza hut size. The stingray's meat was succulent and soft. It wasn't overcooked and it was just very very very fresh.

Salty Fish Beancurd - RM14.00

I didn't really wanted to order the beancurd coz it'd be too ordinary to have beancurd when you're in a seafood restaurant, but my dad and sis wanted to. This dish was rather salty coz of the salted fish, but the beancurd were really soft and smooth.

Thai Style Glass Noodle - RM12.00

This dish is ordered from the individual set menu. Can you imagine this dish was meant for 1 pax??? It was so big when it was served I couldn't believed my eyes. They had lotsa ingredients in it too. Trust me, it's really big in portion, so don't be fooled but the size of it in the picture. Oh have I forgotten to mention, it tasted great too!

Dinner was amazing, everyone of us were so stuffed and bloated. LOL. And it only costs us RM125.40 in total. Damn worth it. Definitely will be going back there anytime soon.

So anyway, back to the celebration. We got this new cake from Secret Recipe which is the Black Forest Cheesecake. I wanted to have some chocolate cake but then I thought of Brownie, she loves sweet stuff but she can't have chocolate. So I thought maybe we should get a cheesecake. Wanted to order Blueberry Cheesecake but my dad and sis suggested the new flavour, Black Forest Cheesecake. So we got it.

That's not my dad's actual age though, sis just wanted to put 5 candles coz it looked pretty. =.=

The supposedly cheesecake tasted more like whipped cream cake. =.= Sis said it's cheese cream, I think it's bullshit. Not nice at all. But Brownie likes it alot. XD

Honeymoon Desserts

I think it was bout 2-3 weeks ago that I went lunch with my aunts and grandma at Puchong. We had fish head meehoon, nothing special bout it coz I don't really fancy fishhead meehoon, so I'll just update bout the dessert place we went.

My aunts brought us to Honeymoon Dessert.

The menu

The menu was awfully thick. They had like hundreds or even more options for you to choose from. One thing that I wasn't satisfied with was that almost all the desserts were almost the same but maybe with a lil bit difference. It was really messy and hard to differentiate each dessert from each other. Confusing.

The place had a cute library book shelve wall paper, didn't take any photos with the background coz I was in a cranky moon that day. =.=

Jelly Bean Toddy Palm - RM9.00

Assorted Fruits Granulated Ice - RM14.00

Mellow Fellow Pastry - RM16.00

Ginko Barley Soybean Sheet - RM4.00

I thought the desserts there were just okay. Nothing really fancy bout it. These cooling desserts were suppose to make you feel refreshing but it made me felt sick of it. There were plain and the tastes of the desserts weren't mixed well. Especially the Assorted Fruit Granulated Ice. The Mango syrup was too much and too thick, and it didn't taste refreshing. Not to mention the thick pile of red beans below the ice. The whole thing just didn't go well together. Awful.

One of their specialties was the Mellow Fellow Pastry, which was like a lil bit of fruits between salty layers of crispy crepes topped with strawberry cream syrup with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. If you ask me, it tasted awfully weird. But my sis liked it. So... I guess it's hard to tell whether the dessert is good or not. =/

I wouldn't go back there if I was given the chance. It just wasn't nice enough for me. Oh well... Sue me.

I heart Brownie

The other day I watched Marley and Me on Astro. I've never watched the movie before even though a friend passed me the downloaded movie version. It was a great movie. Maybe because I like how Marley looked. He was really cute. I don't really like small dogs like poodle or Maltese, I like bigger dogs, but sadly enough, my Brownie isn't growing any bigger. I'm starting to think she's a mix of a Rottweiler and a Chihuahua. XD

Anyway, I thought the ending of the movie was really touching. I wanted to cry at the end of the movie but my darn sister was around, and no way am I crying in front of her. Poor Marley was so old he couldn't really do much and was needed to be put down to sleep. Awwwww... Marley sorta in a way reminds me of Brownie coz of its ears. =(

I can't imagine when the time comes for us to put Brownie to sleep. =( Thank goodness she's only a puppy now and I have at least a few more years to prepare myself for that day. I wish it never comes though. =(

I miss Brownie all the time when I'm out. I always watch a video of her eating her treats when I'm alone in uni waiting for class to start, or when I'm alone somewhere waiting for something.

Bargains I got!

Haha. Actually I've got other posts scheduled but I'm gonna publish this post first!!!

I went to Mid Valley yesterday, alone. LOL. I went and did some simple shopping. I went there straight after my class from 10.30am-1.30pm. I was freaking hungry that I had slight gastric. But nvm.

Since I was alone, I ate McD. The thought of telling a waiter I'll have a table for one is still not something I'm comfortable with. LOL.

Anyway, as I was eating alone, I had alot of time to observe my surroundings. It wasn't like I was gonna eat while looking down at the table the whole time right???

There were a few interesting stuff that I observed and I'm gonna share it with you right now. I noticed that there were alot of young people in McD. They look really young like students, secondary school students. But they were in outing clothes, which mean they can't be students right? Some were in a gang, some couples etc. As I was munching down my fries I accidentally noticed something else which made me LOL, like seriously. All the young people I was talking bout, they were all wearing school shoes. LOL. Dirty school shoes, not even washed or polished. OMG. Hilarious. Reminds me of the time when I used to do that with my friends back in high school. LOL.

Then as I was eating halfway through my Double Cheeseburger, an Indian couple caught my attention. They were tall and beautiful people, very loving. They both bought their meals from the counter, and then proceeded to their seats, which was 2 tables away from me. The girl sat down while the guy was gonna go get some tomato sauce. Then I saw the girl reaching out to grab the fries and then out of nowhere, the guy talked in a loud firm voice, almost shouting, "Patience!". I was stunned!!! He didn't allow his gf to eat fries and insisted that he waited for him to be back then only should she start eating. OMG!!! LOL. What kind of a man is that?

Anyway, it was awkward during lunch coz there were these few McD promoters (young Chinese male students) standing around with nothing to do but to wait for customers to finish their meal then approach them to hand out free breakfast coupons. These promoters kept looking at me while I was eating. They simply were too bored. =.=

Anyway, I headed on to walk around in Mid Valley afterward. Bought some stuff from Watson. They're all cheap stuff coz I'm simply not rich for branded goods.

I bought some lip balms and some essential items too. But that was it. I couldn't find anything else to buy from Mid Valley. What a disappointment. The only reason I went to Mid Valley was because I wanted to restock my make up removal from Skinfood, but they were out of stock!!! Geez.

After walking around in Mid Valley for a few hours I finally took the KTM back. I then headed over to Jusco at Setiawangsa, coz they too have a Skinfood outlet. But to my despair, they were out of stock too!!! Being desperate for a make up removal coz the old one is almost finishing, I headed to Watson, again. LOL.

Then I saw this eye shadow pallete that I really like. I seldom apply eye shadow, I normally just use the Mac eyeliner and then smudge it along with my Skinfood eye shadow for that smokey effect. I've always wanted a large eye shadow pallete but I couldn't find any, and I wasn't about to spend a fortune on them either.

I got this, a good bargain!

I doubt I'll really use all the colors though. XD

Then I continued browsing along in Jusco. Bought all the stuff below. =)

XD It's just weird for me to have such fancy hair piece on my head, so not me. But I think I can pull it off, for Tamy's sake. =)

Mom's birthday!

So many belated posts lately. Been really busy with school lately. Sigh.

Anyway, last Saturday was my mom's birthday but we didn't get to celebrate it coz I had to rush for my assignment. So we celebrated it on Sunday night instead.

We went to Cozy Corner at Ampang Park for dinner. Me and my family have been going there ever since I was a lil child. I must admit that the service and food there has really gone bad. It's such a shame when they have a good concept but cannot live up to it.

Anyway, dinner was just so so. The food was ok but not really up to my satisfaction. It should have been better, after all, it was my mom's birthday we're celebrating.

My sis look rather pale and not radiant in the pic, but that's coz she's been playing too much sports lately. She's been playing basketball, softball, running the tracks and stuff until she's gone really dark. She used to be fairer than me but now she's so dark her Indian friend called her "the same kind". WTF. Young kids nowadays have racism sense of humor.
