I used to think that a simple "I love you" is romantic enough for me. I used to get all hyped up bout the "I love you" and the "I miss you" phrases. I used to think that when someone says "I love you", it'll actually last forever. But as time goes by, I realized it's not that way. As much as the "I love you" you hear from him, it'll all changed just with a snap of a finger. Then you'll realize, all the "I love you" were just words.
So for me, I don't consider stuff like "I love you till forever", or any other fancier way you can say "I love you" to be romantic. I think a romantic thing to say would be a phrase, or a paragraph, or even a page full of words, but without the word "Love".
I bet you've heard of that classic line from the movie Jerry Maguire, "You complete me". That was indeed a very touching line but it was only so coz of the things Tom Cruise said before that last line. I think that something romantic, must be said from the bottom of the heart, with your very own words, without the influence of any classic lines.
It could be constructed with very poor vocabulary, or with very lousy grammar, but as long as it's something sincere and honest, it is something romantic.
And FYI, something that sounds like this "I really love you so much. I've never felt this way about another person before. I really want to be with you till the end of my life", is not something romantic. It's a cliche. How many guys have told this to a girl and end up dumping her in the end?

For me, the most romantic thing I've heard so far goes something like this, not in the exact words, but similar.
Him: "There is no doubt that life will change you, and one day you'll feel differently towards me."
Her: "Then what would you do when that day comes?"
Him: "I haven't thought about it."
*Short pause*
Him: "When I look into your eyes and see something different, then I'll think about it."
I don't really know why, but that is the most romantic thing I've heard so far. And yes, the "Her" is me. =p

I find that romantic as two best friends fall for each other and just call each other nicknames and joke around :) No pressure of cliches at all.

one month ago i did said all these from my heart to a girl but something happened and i cant be forgiven by that girl, but im happy as i can really see her smiling from her heart even i can only sms or call her friends to cheer her up whenever i see her posting emo status or sitting at college emoing~ i never try to change her or decide anything for her what i did was show her and let her make choices.

someone that seldom said i love you or i miss you is someone that really know the meaning of these phases...
people like that will express the words when the moment they felt it...
the most romantic moment is the moment when you deeply feel the words and sincerely express through heart...
that is my view...
