Weird assault in the Putra LRT

Today I will tell you a story with pictures.

Yesterday after work I took the LRT home as usual. To my frustration, I couldn't find my Touch and Go card and had to queue up for the tickets. FYI, I was already running late, was in a rush for the Meet-The-Stars event, and crap happens.

So I missed 2 trains before getting up the 3rd one coz there were lotsa people already.

This is me, exactly how I feel on the train, DULAN.

Then suddenly, I heard some noise from bout 5-6 people away from me.

I was shocked to see what was actually happening.

What I saw was a grumpy old Malay man probably in his late 40's...

And a young nice looking Chinese guy around my age...

He's not THAT nice looking like the pic ok?

What was happening is that the old man was yelling at the young guy.

Apparently the young guy was too busy holding hands with his gf he didn't support himself well and ended up stepping on the old man's foot, literally.

The old man soon got even more irritated and turned mad like a psychopath, he kept repetitively scolding the young guy "Bodoh" which means stupid in BM.

Then suddenly!!!

You can read right?

Yup the young guy got slapped and pinched in the face by the old man!!!

I got pissed off straight away.

It was non of my business but I sounded the old man anyway.

I shouted across 5-6 people in between me and the old man, saying: "Accident saje lah bodoh!!!".

And then the old man finally shut up. Still grumbling though and some other Malay dude on the train said: "Dah la dah la..." to him which means "enough already la" in BM.

The train was packed during the incident and everyone else just looked. Nobody said one word. I guess everyone was waiting for a fight to happen.

That's typical Malaysians' attitude for being ignorant. I'm not racist, I'm country-ist? WTF.

What bothered me the most was not the psychopath old man's behavior or Malaysians' ignorance.

What bothered me most was the gf of the young guy.

She looks exactly like this, even her hair is the same, and just like the picture, she stood still and did nothing while her bf got assaulted.

Btw, her arms were not in that position, they were on her sides.

I don't blame the young guy though, he was probably in shocked that he got assaulted.

One thing's for sure, he definitely did not had a good night sleep last night. Imagine being rescued by a girl (me) in front of so many other people. Damn, his ego will be hurting like shit.

You know what? I seriously think that the grumpy old man should be taken in to the police station and get served for assaulting someone in public area.

Unless he is sinile or pleas insanity, then the lawsuit will be dropped. But then hor, you can also serve his guardians blaming them for letting loose a mad dog. WTF.

People should grow old gracefully and maintain their self respect and not lose it all like a mad dog.

Anyone who grows old other than being what I just said should just stay home and wait for the Grim Reaper's visit.

Seriously I can't get the incident out of my head coz it's just too absurd!!!

How can the couple not do anything and stand there let the old man assault??? They should react accordingly!!!

If it was me and my bf (if I had one), I'd instantly come up with an evil scheme.

When the old man starts yelling and calling my bf "Bodoh", I'd just start accusing him of touching me in the wrong places, that's why my bf stepped on his foot. Like seriously la, nobody is not gonna believe what a young girl say especially when the old man starts being rude in the first place. Anyway, nobody would even notice anything until the old man starts acting like a mad dog wutt. You got no witness, you can say whatever you want. People will believe you especially when you're in a packed train and dressed like a real polite decent girl, like the victim's gf.

Moral of the story: Next time you go anywhere, be careful of what you do or what you say, who knows you might be in the same place with a very busybody blogger who likes to bud her nose in almost everything, and then you'll get blogged about in her blog. LOL.
