Photoshop skill

Today I wanna show off my photoshop skill and to prove that I'm good in touching up photos so don't always believe what you see, and don't blame me for lying to you when I always declare that I photoshop my photos.

This is just a pic I took after I got home from Meeting-The-Stars event.

Thanks to my digicam, which I have no idea why it keeps taking blur photos lately, the unedited photo looks somewhat ok. In human language, the photo is so blur that all the flaws on my skin complexion is hidden (and also coz I have make up on). Take a close up photo of me in full lighting you will get the shock of your life. WTF.

Dunno why the color also sucks. Sigh, looks like a photo taken with a 2.0 Megapixel camera only lor... What happen to my digicam!!!

This is the edited version.

• I basically changed the color into black/white coz the color of the ori photo was so hideous that no matter how I tried to edit the color, it just doesn't seem right.
• Then notice the left side of the photo (your left), I liquify my pupils coz the pupil were kinda like hanging midway and you can see my sclera (white part of the eye), which looks like goldfish - ugly.
• Then also used burn tool to enhance my eyeliner at the bottom lid of my eyes for the more dramatic look.
• Then also notice my cheek, can see that in the edited version, my cheek looks much nicer and firm. WTF. Instantly look dunno how many years younger lor.
• Then I also adjusted the lighting and levels of the photo, dodge the highlighted part of my hair and burn the shadow part of my hair, to make my hair look shiny and glossy. WTF.
• Normally if the photo quality is too good, I'd use the clone stamp tool to hide my dark eye circle, huge pores, pimples and uneven skin tone, also wrinkles, freckles or any string of hair that got in the way of my face.

See? Minor touch up here and there makes a whole lot of difference. Haha. Now I look so nice in the edited version. =p

Next time someone says: "I touch up a bit only..." then you'll know what to think of the original pic. =)

Here's some tips on how to take a nice close up shot like mine.

• Photo is taken from top angle so your double chin don't show and  your eyes become bigger . Haha. 
• Because it's taken from a higher angle, the top part of your head will look a tad bit weird, so the camera need not take the whole head, crop it at the mid of your head or forehead line.
  
• Used your hair and hand to cover a certain degree of the side of your face (but not too much) to make your face look smaller.
• My lips look like they are relaxed but they are not, try to pout a lil but not too much until it looks like you're pouting. Just slightly puff it up, think Angelina Jolie. LOL.
