Snow Storm Warrior Make Up

Today we'll talk bout the make up I had on for the Storm Warrior 2 blog post contest I've done recently. Remember the snowy eye make up? (Ha, I just named it for fun.)

It was actually quite easy la. I started out in my mind with the few following facts that I think you guys should know before judging.

1. It's only for a mere at most 30minute photoshoot.
2. Nobody is going to see me with the make up.
3. It doesn't have to be perfect (nobody is seeing it).
4. It needs to be as extreme as possible or else it can't be shown in photos.
5. As dramatic as possible, but still look nice and not like a clown.

So now you know what was on my mind, time to let you guys know what 'ingredients' did I used.

1. Concealer.
2. Fake eyelashes with glitters on.
3. Eye liner (pencil and liquid).
4. Shimmery white lower eye liner.
5. Metallic white eye shadow.
6. Metallic black eye shadow.

Don't ask me how come I got so much weird color stuff la, I dunno how to answer you also. =.= I know I'd probably got the eye make up sequence wrong, but who cares? As long as it works for me. Don't read if you're gonna be so judgmental.

Anyway, I applied concealer first of coz. I have very obvious green veins under my eyes plus dark circles, so I need concealer. Even after concealer, I still need to photoshop my dark circles. Damn sad can.

Then I drew the eye liner (pencil) for the upper lids of my eyes. I normally don't draw it very far out at the end coz I just think it looks kinda fake and over, I just draw them right until where the curve of my eyes end, same as for this snowy make up.

Then I used the pencil eye liner again for the lower eye lids, from inner corner to the mid section (center of your pupils when you're looking straight forward). I always use pencil eye liner for the lower lids coz it just look less fake and it blends naturally with my lower eyelashes creating the illusion that I actually have a volume lower eye lashes. WTF!!!

Then I use the liquid eye liner to further enhance the upper lids of my eyes, re-coating over the part where I drew with the pencil eye liner to give that darker and edgier look. My eye liners are all black btw, don't like brown for some reasons.

Now that I've done the eye liner part, I put on the fake eyelashes. It has glitters on in too. Click here to see my previous camwhore session with the same pair of fake eye lashes. Oh, I don't wear fake eye lashes when I go out so that's why the lashes are still in good condition even though it's been quite some time since I last used them. And I curled but didn't apply mascara to my lashes coz I'd edi be wearing fake lashes, can't see my lashes edi one.

Ok, the next part is gonna be suckish coz I've no idea how to describe coz I'm clueless bout make up. =.= So I apply the metallic white eye shadow on to the upper lid of the eyes? The part near the brows. None of the metallic white eye shadow in the mid section of the upper lids though, don't wanna cause a mess when I apply the black eye shadow there later. Oh ya, try to pull the white eye shadow as long and further out to the sides of your eyes for that dramatic look.

Then use the metallic black eye shadow and apply it in the mid section of the upper lids. This allows the illusion of you having bigger eyes. XD Dapping it on to the edge of fake lashes too to blend the colors so that the fake lashes doesn't look fake. Try to blend the black and the white together too make it look like the color gradually changed and not 2 obviously diff colors. The toned the black eye shadow to follow the curve of the pre-drawn eye liner and the curve of the eyes until sideways, it lengthens the eye width and gives that larger eye illusion.

Then use the shimmery white eye liner to draw the inner corner of your lower eye part. Draw it from the inner corner to the mid section where the black eye liner ends.

Aiya, talk so much crap also you guys don't understand one la. See picture la. =.="

Nice not nice not??? LOL. I actually think it looks very nice ler... But it's just so extreme to be worn out on the streets. LOL. Even for annual dinner also cannot lor. Maybe some costume parties if I have such privileges. XD

BTW: The correct sequence of eye make up, if not mistaken, is:

1. Concealer
2. Eye shadow
3. Eye liner
4. Highlighter (the shimmery white eye liner)
5. and Mascara.

Anyway, I also liked my hair in the Storm Warrior 2 post very much. Tied half of my hair and pulled it all to the upper right side of my head and twisted and folded into a mini flat bun then used a floral hair clip to clip it in place. The hair clip cost a bunch, don't play play, but it's my mom's la. LOL. Then the white pendant I had on my forehead, it's actually a necklace (one of my 21st BD gift from my aunt).

Overall look, Ta-Dah!

Anyway, I've had quite a few people telling me that I look kinda like those girls from the older days, like in dramas. =.=" I remember even Dr.Darren saying that lor... ZZZZZzzzzzzz...
